ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sparkle City Disco are Nashville’s premier vinyl disco DJs. The duo – Jonas Stein and David Bermudez – formed one fateful, bourbon-filled night at classic Nashville dive Foobar. Jonas, raised on punk and having toured the world playing in rock bands, had a slightly different upbringing than his counterpart David, whose schooling forbade dancing. The two did, however, share the desire to spin classic vinyl disco ’45s, and the pair cut their teeth DJ’ing every Friday night at Foobar until their popularity demanded they take the show on the road.
The duo specialize in filling rooms with the sounds of deep, pre-house disco hits from the ’70s and ’80s, and deck venues out with oversized mirrored balls, hazers, lights and lasers. Their straight-ahead DJ style features all hits and no tricks, and pays homage to the original vinyl tastemakers while honoring the genre of disco.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
The Skydeck stage is an outdoor covered venue. When severe weather conditions exist in close proximity to Skydeck, we may choose to delay a performance before deciding to cancel or proceed. Umbrellas are not admitted in the venue during concerts. All events are rain or shine.
BAG POLICY
Approved bags include medical bags, parenting bags, CLEAR 12” x 12” bags, and NON-CLEAR 6.5” x 4.5” bags will be permitted following X-Ray screening. Backpacks of any kind are NOT permitted.
NO OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINKS
There are 30+ eateries and bars to choose from in Assembly Hall on Level 2
AGE POLICY
This event is 21 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating they are at least 21 years of age will not be admitted to this event. Must be 21+ to drink.
DISCOUNTED PARKING VALIDATION
Metropolis and Skydeck have teamed up to offer Skydeck event-goers a flat parking rate for our shows. Discounted parking validation will be available only for guests who have purchased tickets to a Skydeck event. Please note that validation is not offered for free or private events.
